IT Whitelisting Template for FileInvite

This article provides a ready-to-send technical brief you can forward to your IT team or a borrower's security department to request whitelisting of FileInvite's sending infrastructure.

If your login URL ends in fileinvite.com, use this knowledge base instead.

Getting Started

Before sending this template, confirm you have the contact details for the relevant IT or security administration team at your organisation or your borrower's institution.

đź’ˇ Best Practice: When sending this to a borrower's IT team, CC your point of contact at their organisation. This helps IT confirm the request is part of an authorised business partnership, which typically speeds up the approval process.

Whitelisting Request Template

Copy the template below and send it to the appropriate IT or security team.

Subject: Action Required: Whitelisting Request for FileInvite Document Portal

To: IT / Security Administration Team

Context:

To streamline our document collection process and enhance data security, we use FileInvite—a SOC 2 Type 2 compliant document collection platform. FileInvite replaces insecure email attachments with a secure, encrypted portal where borrowers upload documents directly.

Problem:

Automated email notifications from FileInvite—containing secure portal links—are currently being flagged or quarantined by inbound security filters. This prevents borrowers from receiving their upload links.

Whitelisting Request:

Please whitelist the following sending sources to ensure FileInvite notifications are delivered successfully:

Item Value
Primary Sending Domain fileinvite.app
Application Domain *.fileinvite.app
Mail Server IP Address 149.72.212.118 (SendGrid)

Security and Compliance:

Attribute Detail
Encryption (at rest) AES-256
Encryption (in transit) TLS 1.2+
Compliance certification SOC 2 Type 2
SOC 2 report availability Available upon request with NDA in place

Please confirm once these settings have been updated so we can send a test Invite to verify delivery.

Note: If your IT team requires the full SOC 2 certification report, please contact your FileInvite representative. A standard NDA or existing contract must be in place before the report can be shared.
