Edit, Rename, Duplicate, or Delete a Template - Fileinvite for Lending Help

Learn how to modify and manage existing templates for your account.

 

Templates are available only to users with an Organisation Owner, Admin, or User role. Learn more about user roles and permissions here.

To get started, click Templates along the left to bring up the templates list, then click the 3 dots at the top right of the template you'd like to modify to bring up the Edit, Rename, Duplicate, and Delete options.

Edit a Template

If you click Edit from the above menu, you'll be taken to the template editing view. Alternatively you can also click Templates along the left to show the template list, click on the template you'd like to edit, and then hit the Edit Template button at the top right to start editing a template.

Rename a Template

If you click on Rename, you'll be prompted to add a different template name. Click Rename to save the new template name.

Duplicate a Template

Clicking Duplicate will automatically create a copy of the selected template, which you can then edit or rename as needed.

Delete a Template

Hitting Delete will bring up the Delete Template confirmation window. Note that once deleted, a template cannot be restored.
